Council Planning

Replacing sash windows on any grade listed building will require consent from the local planning office. Our operations and technical team are experts at the preparation of planning documents and will see your project through to approval.

Every project is bespoke and tailored specifically to the customer. We use modern CAD software to ensure every window installation is perfect, our technical surveyors are always keeping up to date with new regulations to make sure our new timber windows and doors meet all required specifications.

As well as producing entire new sash windows and frames, William Richards Sash Windows are proud to offer a cost effective, low disruption solution for your sash windows. Subject to survey, we install your new double glazed sashes into your existing frame, As your new double glazing is heavier then the replaced sashes, we use compact lead counter weights to ensure a correctly balanced, smooth operation.

We offer an array of slim and heritage, insulating, and acoustic double-glazed unit specifications for all new sash windows. . All our double glazing is made to meet each project’s specific desired specifications whilst adhering to building regulations.
